Sometimes Family Fun Can Be Found in Unusual Places
For years I have heard about the tours at the many breweries in Colorado. Figuring those weren’t really appropriate for our children, we had never explored the options. Recently we were surprised to find out that the many of the Budweiser factories also have Clydesdale Hamlets where their well-known Clydesdales are kept. We also found out that once a month the locations in Fort Collins, Colorado; Mirramac, New Hampshire; and St. Louis, Missouri offer a Camera Day where visitors can get up close to one of their Clydesdales.
We would have never thought to explore the options at a Brewery tour for our family, but I’m so glad we did. Last weekend we visited the Fort Collins Budweiser brewery to pet the Clydesdales. The kids thought it was great, and it is FREE which makes it even better!
We have learned a lesson about checking many resources for family fun opportunties! If you would like to head out to a Camera Day at one of the three mentioned Budweiser Breweries, you can get information on their Tours page.
Interesting. Thanks for the link.
